it was a great show. The word afterwards that it was probbaly the best night of the tour, and I aint going to argue with those sentiments. Seriously I aint got a clue on the setlist I could give you a list of tunes played but apart from starting with Shaktar Donetsk and the encore being White Man, Bankrobber then White Riot I coluldn't help out with the order....but... Message To You Rudie, Mega Bottle Ride, Johnny Appleseed, Coma Girl (song of the night!), Police and Thieves, Police On My Back, Tony Adams, Dakar Meantime, Get Down Moses, Bhindi Bhagee,Bummed Out City....and others.
I told my mate to count the number of instruments Martin plays, he gave up on about 5 after 2 songs, every tune see's everyone of them swopping around, Joe's guitar was launched and caught as always. And all the beauts who like to stage dive only got the nerve for the encore so it wasn't to bad. Someone should ask Joe if it is easy to sing while two drunken scousers have an arm round you and are dancing away....
If anyone see's El Panko ask if he ever managed to open that bottle of wine, last I saw he had been struggling for over half an hour, he he...
what else you want from me? I can tell you all about the bestest chicken madras with onion baghi's from the Asha if you like?
by the way I don't know what that little venue holds but last night it was rammed with old Clash heads and enough others who new the new stuff. Must have been a good view from the balcony, the place was bouncing....
Despite replying agina to me own message I is not still drunk I promise...he he... Junco Partner is still the best tune around, it does not matter how he plays it, Joe is the bollocks at doing that tune.
it was anounced as only being writtena few days earlier, they all seeemed keen to play it and give it ago, but for whatever reason the lyrics were lost in the sound a little so it was hard to say to much about it other than its a slowish one, maybe not as slow as Shaktar, but that kind of darker mood to it....but I could be way wrong about that!
